Village Metalsmiths is Canada’s oldest operating foundry, dating back to 1840. Situated on the banks of the Rideau River in picturesque Merrickville, Ontario, we continue to cast products in aluminum, bronze, brass and iron.

Over the years, we have produced a variety of items, ranging from cannons to church steepletops.

We still produce a wide range of custom-made products, including those in the groupings below.

Cast Metal Signs

Our cast metal house signs and numbers come in many shapes and sizes. Our most popular shapes are the Oxford Series (Oval), the Lanark Series (Arched) and the Rideau Series (rectangle).
